Common sense approach to safety, reliability, and long-term benefits

Evaluation

With the advance of the Internet and computer technology, industrial plant engineers and technicians have direct access to scientific and engineering resources, and supplier information from around the globe. The challenge which they face however, is that it is very difficult to evaluate both the validity of this information and the reliability of its source without having expertise and experience in a specific technical area.

This is especially true with combustion and thermal energy technologies, which are not widely known areas of engineering sciences. In most cases, equipment manufacturers or their representatives are the only source of information.

Another difficult challenge faced by plant engineers, is to be able to provide equipment manufacturers with credible operating data and specifications for the equipment, both from the point of view of the process data, as well as, of an up-to-date knowledge of what is achievable with modern technology. So, the big question is: WHAT SHOULD I ASK AND WHO SHOULD I ASK?

ENEFEN is not associated with any thermal energy and combustion equipment manufacturer and offers independent consulting services in this area of expertise. We have the industrial knowledge, experience and innovative investigative and measurement techniques to get the right data and to ask the right questions. We also have an in-depth knowledge of the industry to get the right answers.

THERMAL ENERGY AND COMBUSTION PROJECTS ARE ALL THAT WE DO...

Line

We Evaluate:

  • Thermal energy and combustion process requirements.
  • Process data, their sources and reliability.
  • Need for additional instrumentation and data collection methods.
  • Suitability of existing equipment and utilities.
  • Performance of existing equipment (efficiency, emissions testing).
  • Condition of existing equipment.
  • Environmental requirements.
  • Safety requirements.
  • Operational and maintenance requirements.
  • Approval requirements.
  • Possible solutions and their Cost / Benefit ratios.
  • Equipment / system suppliers proposals.
  • Incremental improvements after implementation.
  • Maintenance and operational complaints.
  • System upgrade / modernization requirements.
  • Process expansion or modification.

Optimum Efficiency + Maximum Safety + Improved Reliability + Reduced Maintenance = Cost Savings + Reduced Liability = Increased Profits $$$
